Meet Rebecca
Rooted Wellness grew from a personal journey rather than a business plan.
Several years ago I lived in Glastonbury, a place often associated with Avalon. During that time I spent a lot of time immersed in nature and exploring different approaches to healing. I had always carried an interest in healing in its many forms, but it was there that this curiosity deepened. I became interested in conversations around addiction and recovery, explored plant medicine, and began to spend more time reflecting on the ways people reconnect with themselves.
Meditation gradually became an important part of my life. What began as curiosity slowly became a practice that helped me return to myself again and again. Over time I continued exploring practices that support relaxation and balance, eventually training in Indian Head Massage and beginning to work with crystal healing.
Alongside this journey, I have always been drawn to creativity and the natural world. I spend a lot of time outdoors, walking in woodland, noticing the changing seasons and finding inspiration in the quiet details of nature. Painting, journaling, knitting and storytelling have all been ways of slowing down and making sense of the world around me.
When I eventually left Glastonbury, someone said something that stayed with me:
“You can leave Avalon without losing yourself.”
That idea stayed with me long after I moved away. The calm, connection and understanding we sometimes find in certain places doesn’t have to remain there — we can carry it with us into everyday life.
Rooted Wellness grew from that understanding. Through meditation sessions, Indian Head Massage and crystal healing I offer calm spaces where people can pause, reconnect and return to themselves.
My approach is simple and grounded. I believe that sometimes the most powerful thing we can do is slow down, take a breath, and allow ourselves a moment of stillness.
